For our 3rd Annual Sale, Brian and Craig have again come up with a super selection of Ranch Used
Saddle Horses. The geldings range in age from 3-5 years and most have been exposed to various facets
of ranchwork, from moving cows, to dragging calves to the branding fire, to sorting, doctoring, etc. A few
of the geldings will go to town to participate in Big Sandy's Annual Ranch Rodeo, O-mok-sees, and other
local events.

Most of the geldings carry foundation breeding and we do have a few that are grade. We plan to have a
few more that have been raised on the ranch, Buster sons to be specific, and they are sure riding nicely.
Our goal is to ride what we raise and "Tee" was the first to sell last year and ended up as the 2nd High
Selling Gelding in 2003.

The goal of our gelding program is to put a solid foundation on them so that their next owner can take
them any direction. We especially pick for good minds and solid dispostions. We want happy customers
and a bad-minded horse does not make for a happy customer. We feel that Montana ranch-used
geldings make the best trail and family horses you can find, but with the start they get they should really
excel in the arena too!

On this page there are photos of some of the geldings at work. Check out our online catalog for the
posed shots as well as pedigree info. We do want to match the horse to the rider as much as possible so
we encourage "test-driving" the geldings at the ranch prior to the sale if at all possible.

LC Sugs Bo San "Flash"

3 year old

This horse has just progressed so well. His
mind can't be beat, he just never gets flustered,
even when running mares. He took to roping
like a natural, is full of cow and should be a nice
sized horse as he continues to mature.

CC Triple Play "Quint"

3 year old

This horse has such a nice
disposition. Craig has used
him a lot and he has such a
great attiude with every task
he is given. He is very quiet,
extremely handy and a true
using horse. He's put together
right with nice conformation,
good bone and feet.

LC Speedy Sug "Junior"

3 year old

Great conformation, super
disposition, true family
horse. Junior pulls from
the horn like a horse much
bigger than himself, just
puts his head down and goes.

He has run horses and
keeps up very well without a
bad attitude. This horse's
disposition is his best asset.

LC Snappy Sug Bar "Coulee"

3 year old

Another nice son of Buster, very
athletic, gentle and handy.

This is a very versatile horse, he
is a natural at whatever he tries.

Millers Peppy Van "Lobo"

Solid 3 year old

This horse has had a full
years time and if a 3 year
old can be "solid" he is.
Kitten gentle, drug calves to
the fire, been in the
mountains, river breaks and
prairie and handles it all
like a gentleman
